Unforgettable JACK NICKLAUS SIGNATURE DESIGN

Iconic player-designer Jack Nicklaus winner of 18 Professional Major Championships chose this pristine swath of terrain as the site of his first Northern California golf course, etching one of his most imaginative championship layouts ever into the Livermore Valley amidst more than 53 picturesque vineyards.

Five sets of tees on each hole enable golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy this adventurous par-72 test of golf, which measures 7,400 yards from the Nicklaus tees – making it the longest golf course in Northern California.

How We Manage Pace of Play

Your Position On The Course

Your position on the Golf Course is directly behind the group in front of you.

Not directly in front of the group behind you.

Arcis Golf is committed to delivering extraordinary golf experiences played at an enjoyable pace. It is our expectation that every golfer accepts the responsibility to maintain their position on the course relative to the pace of play target time. At Broad Bay Country Club, your round should be played in no more than 4 hours. We will manage accordingly to ensure an enjoyable experience for all members and guests.

By following the pace of play guidelines and helpful tips below you should be able to easily maintain your position on the course and complete your round at an enjoyable pace.

In the event that a group is out of position or causing undue delay, our Player Assistants will:
  1. Provide an initial friendly reminder and a specific expectation for the group to regain position.
  2. Act as a forecaddie to assist groups in regaining position.
  3. If a group is unable to regain position, the Player Assistant will provide that group with options to move back into position, such as skipping shots / holes, rain check, or restarting their round behind the last group.
