DUBLIN, Ohio Aug. 3, 2017 — Celebrating the completion of its new fitness center, Tartan Fields Golf Club will host the very first “Tartan Field Day” on Saturday, August 12.  The afternoon of free activities will showcase the club’s expanding curriculum of health, wellness, and fitness programs, with emphasis on how they interconnect with golf, tennis, swimming, and other activities. 

Tartan Fields Golf Club—owned and operated by Dallas-based Arcis Golf—has significantly increased its commitment to a healthy lifestyle environment with the addition of the new, 3,000-square-foot fitness complex. Among its features is a group fitness room with best-in-class Cybex spin bikes, the premier line of Life Fitness cardio equipment, as well as strength-training equipment, functional training, and free-weight areas.  Along with structured programs and offerings for adults, the fitness club will include a Kids’ Club.

Long recognized as one of the finest private golf and lifestyle clubs in Ohio, Tartan Fields features an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, a “zero entry” swimming pool—with a 25-foot slide—and six hard-surface tennis courts.   Arcis Golf recently invested $2.1 million to transform the clubhouse, including the addition of new dining areas, bar, and a multi-level patio with fire features that have proven to be popular gathering spaces for members and their families and guests.  

Field Day will open the club to the public from 11 am to 4 pm.  Participants will be given a scorecard to track their visits to the various activity stations around the club, and be eligible to win prizes. After enjoying the planned activities, guests are invited to finish at the aquatics complex, unwinding on the spacious pool deck. Poolside food and beverage service will be available all day.
